 I visited with her again this morning, same spot, same time - she would not eat out of my hand or let me pet her but she did make contact, gently pawing the tip of my extended hand, claws out. A tenant two floors up in the adjacent building called her so I found out her name: Tender. She leisurely performed some of her routine, cat cleaning, cat stretch, front, back and the arch, cat scratch on a nearby tree trunk, and this rollover, interrupted by a run towards two incoming leashed dogs, whom she eyed warily. Oh, and she meowed softly in response to some questions I proferred. All in a ten minute visit.
